Yeah, I’ve gotten over it by now. Happened a few years ago at this point. My account lasted ~10 years. 
I’ve been looking for something reliable. So far statescard seems to be the best option. Can’t find much practical experience for other options.
Either that or creating a new ID and loading gift cards onto it until my ID’s current country is eligible.

It’s certainly handy because you don’t need that extra account. Makes multi-device work easier.
