While I still enjoy playing on global, I decided to make a JP account just in case.
This was when the Anni-Event began. Rerolled a couple of times until I had both Domain Gojo and Yellow Yuji. However, I usually play on my lunch breaks on my phone, and I was very annoyed by the slow VPN connection and having to reconnect to different gateways until one works with the JP version.
So I barely played on JP, because after all I just wanted the account in case Global dies.
Now that Yuta has returned on JP, I wanted to play JP a bit and roll for him there. In the meantime I had uninstalled the JP version on my phone because I needed the storage space, so I decided to install QooApp and JJKPP using BlueStacks on my PC. I assumed that if I used the same QooApp account the account would be transfered, but it didnt. I reinstalled JP on my phone and the account was gone there as well. This is not a big loss as I had not done much yet and the Anni event is still going, however, to prevent this from happening again, can I somehow sync my account?

In JP, you have to go to “メニュー:Menu” at the bottom right of the home screen
→ “引き継ぎ:Transfer” at the bottom of the screen
→“連携方法を選択する:Selecting a Collaboration Method.”Select the method of linking (ID and password or Google account),
(Choose whether to link with your ID and password or with your Google account)
→If you choose to link with your ID and password, enter them.
(Don’t forget these letters! It is a good idea to take a screenshot.
You can also copy the letters by tapping the symbol next to the password)
This will allow you to take over the data, though,
Note that this transfer will be invalid if you reset and start over. or deleted your data.
When you want to take over from the linkage,
If you enter your ID and password from “データ連携:Data Linkage” on the menu screen
You will be able to use the original data.

リセマラ(データを消してから最初からやり直し)したり、
データを削除したりした時にはこの引き継ぎは無効になるので注意。
連携から引き継ぎしたい時は、
メニュー画面の「データ連携」からIDやパスワードを入力すれば
元のデータで使えるようになる

This might be a dumb question but how would I download the JP version of the app on my phone? I’ve been playing on PC but would also like to play during breaks. I have NordVPN on PC and that works for JJKPP so I think it’ll work on my phone as well. I just don’t know how to actually put the app on my phone.

Depending on whether you use Android or iOS the method is a bit different.
For Android, you can just install the QooApp from their official Website. QooApp is an alternative App-Store that features many JP-exclusive games. You make a QooApp-Account and then just download the JP-Version from there.

I tried that but when I try to make a new Japanese Apple account it asks for a phone number but won’t send any verification codes. Says “this number is not available for verification right now” or something like that. I thought maybe Apple changed how phone numbers work and was hoping there was a new workaround.
Ah sorry, in that case I cannot help you, I don’t know a lot about iOS
