Antivirus with VPN on android

Hi,

As I am using Proton Vpn all of the time, I got NOD32 from my company.

Should I use it also ? Does it interfere with VPN or any other issues?

Do I need antivirus ?

I use ProtonVPN together with Eset Nod32 on Android. Never had an issue with that combo.

Why not? The play store is riddled with malware

I am not required to use it. But I was curious is it good or not to use it with vpn.

Also it probably drains more battery.
