I’ve been using it for a couple days now and while I’m impressed it just sounds too good to be true. The app is completely free and blocks through VPN. It’s significantly better than anything else I’ve tried. It blocks ads in YouTube, Hulu, apps and most browser ads. However, I feel like they need to make money somehow so there must be a downside to it. I’m also interested to know how they’re able to block YouTube and Hulu ads when other DNS services claim it’s simply not possible without blocking the video altogether. Here’s the link to their site for anyone interested. Would love some feedback from anyone who’s used it before. Thanks
They sell your data. Super dubious. Check the 1 star reviews but be mindful to filter the noise from the tinfoil hat wearing types. Here is a peer reviewed open source solution that explains how to set up system wide adblocking on iOS https://github.com/rajannpatel/Pi-Hole-PiVPN-on-Google-Compute-Engine-Free-Tier-with-Full-Tunnel-and-Split-Tunnel-OpenVPN-Configs
They actually stole my blocklist…
Edit: At least i think they did, because it looks very similar to mine.
I was user of https://www.nomobileads.com/ until they released new App “Luna”. This is nice iOS app too.

For blocking all adds I use there profile too.(must be enabled under Setting>General>info>Certificate) http://www.nomobileads.com/extension?amp_source=faq&udid=VncNWrFniXmF-gen2#installed
I’ve also tried the app for more than a month and I’m very impressed by the app. However, I have the same doubt and suspicious. Yes, it is too good to be true.
They do block ads very well. But they sell your data. No privacy at all.
It’s ok they can take my data. That is why I don’t do any transactions or have banking info on my phone.
I read all the privacy terms just now (swipe up while in the app and tap “privacy”). Basically what it says is that they do collect information like what apps you use, how long you use them and how much data is used in them (that kind of thing) but that stuff that they sell is all anonymous stuff that is used for ads and third party analysis. They also do store identifiable information (for example your location and app data) but they say they will only access that information if they believe you’re violating terms of service or breaking the law or they believe you or someone is in imminent danger or they are asked to by the authorities. So from my understanding it should be fine to use if you don’t care about anonymous data being sold and if you’re not doing anything sensitive or illegal. They also say they store your personal information indefinitely but that they will delete it within 30 days upon request as long as they aren’t holding it for ToS violations or for law enforcement. I’d disable the VPN if you’re doing anything important but for an adblocker watching YouTube videos or that kind of stuff it seems harmless enough as long as you don’t care about anonymous information being sold.
Loving the app so far. Recommended !!!
There is a faster benefits unlocking if we share the link to install.

Mods - if this is not allowed please let me know
I’ve been using it and it hasn’t been blocking the Spotify ads, I installed the extension and did everything I need to. (And yes I know I have to enable the vpn for it to work) it just won’t work. Help!
It says Spotify, are there certain steps you use?
Doesn’t work for me still getting YouTube ads even after doing all the necessary steps
That’s what I thought. The fact that they reward you the longer you stay on is dead giveaway. Just way too good to be true. It’s a shame because it’s probably the best one I’ve tried so far. I’ve tried pi-hole but it misses a lot of ads, especially YouTube. Will try your link. Thanks!
One thing I like with “Luna” that I don’t have to reconnect to the vpn every time I open my phone as all other vpn is disconnected once I close my phone. Also I read one issue in the github that open vpn is disconnected continuously.
One more thing, what kind of data they are stealing, my credit card or only the other data like browsing history health data and etc?
I’ve tried your solution. OpenVPN is working, however it is not blocking ads in my iPhone. ( Only split tunnel is working, full tunnel is not)
Can u post a link of ur block list?
turn it on while you use youtube or play games, turn it off when you’re doing everything else… it’s not difficult to turn it off…
That’s actually fine with me. It’s a small price to pay for a nice adblocker IMO. Plus, you can always disable it whenever you’re doing something sensitive like you said.
I didn’t try it with Spotify so I’m not sure. It doesn’t work with absolutely everything though. Instagram and Snapchat ads still go through. My guess is Spotify would be similar. I’d say if it blocks YouTube ads, then it’s probably working properly since nothing else seems to block those ads.
Not really, I just followed the same instructions in the app. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling both the app and VPN.
