From what ive read on forums etc. Its got to do with the american servers and australias mediocre internet.
VPNs are meant to help, but just want some peoples experience before i pay.
ESO has latency issues because of the idiotic way it directs Oceania traffic through an Akamai server node in Hong Kong before sending it to the USA. Which is one of the least efficient ways of routing traffic.
Might go suss out nordvpn since ot seems to be the most popular
NordVPN has dropped me from 400 to 200. And has helped alot. Most likely the best it will get.
Fellow aus here, so you’d recommend NordVPN?
Have used it for less than 24hrs and so far so good.
Seems to be good for a heap of other things aswell, see how its going in a week.
