Best VPN for torrenting or downloading games?

Best VPN for torrenting or downloading games?

I think a lot of people will say there is no ‘best’ VPN for any particular situation, as they all basically do the same thing. The picking and choosing aspect relates to the quality of VPN and how likely or unlikely they are to give you up if whatever company goes after them.

Mullvad best for torrenting.

You’ll get a lot of different answers with this, so I’ll just answer you with two VPNs I’ve used and liked.

My main one is Windscribe. They’ve got a free plan of 10GB/month but very rarely hold promotions where you can up that for free. I’ve got 20GB/month because of one of them. I’ve never had a problem with them, and they do an exceptional job at keeping my IP hidden. They’ve also got a built-in firewall that automatically activates as soon as you connect.

From what I’ve heard from Windscribe Pro users, it’s well worth the price. You can also do a “choose your own plan” kind of thing where you pick locations, unlimited data, and/or their special tech ROBERT, which admittedly, I don’t know what it does. I have heard it’s very good for what it does, though.

I’ve also used NordVPN, but I wouldn’t really recommend them. If you’ve got no other choice, then sure, go for them. Just know they don’t have a very good rep, so likely untrustworthy.

Nordvpn, based in Eu and they dont keep logs of your activity. So they say.

In my opinion, NordVPN may be the best for torrenting and downloading games.

Windscribe for torrenting

Mullvad has a decent reputation among the community when it comes to torrenting and P2P file sharing try that. I personally use both Ivacy and Mullvad.

Damn :joy: Well do you have any ideas for one that is least likely to be a sell out but doesn’t slow down internet speed too much? i’ve seen a good deal for nordvpn and that wind one (forgot the name)

Read that as Internet Historian lol

I suggest you do your own research but personally, I’ve been using Express VPN for a couple years now and haven’t had any issues.

Any VPN that is endorsed scares me, like nord has Wired, Forbes, Buzzfeed, BBC, TED. Umm wtf? I’m pretty sure they have copyright information that could be obtained through nordvpn, it makes no sense to me

I use Nord for games and movies. Speeds usually pretty good. I’ve had no real issues. Tech support is pretty good. I don’t like that you can’t use a doublevpn and nordlynx together. I’ve never had a dmca notice.
