Since using two VPNs on the same device is not something I seem to be able to do, is there a relatively simple way to connect to a different country (for example Slovakia) and than connect to my company (that uses Cisco) that only allows connections from my country?
I have to send a project soon, and I had to leave the country on an emergency.
Thanks in advance.
Use your phone with desired country VPN as a hotspot
Most likely you will not be able to connect 2 VPNs at the same time or even if you do for some reason, one will get no internet, so I’m guessing there is no way to do that.
I did this once and it worked just fine however I rented a server in my home country for a month and set up a VPN on that. I’d also keep in mind that how well this setup works will greatly depend on the quality of the internet connection at your destination.
On a side note, I wonder if Nord meshnet can be used for this, though I have no idea if it can be used via a router.
If you end up in a hotel with shitty wifi, then you might be in a rough spot. One or two of the Gli-net routers have a slot for a sim card. If OP is desperate and needs this to work, it might be worth getting one of their LTE routers so they can have the option of a local sim card if needed.
Something else to keep in mind if you’re pretending to be somewhere you’re not: pay attention to background noises. If you’re not careful, something as simple as an emergency vehicle passing by while you’re on a call might give you away.
