I would wanna download an app in the US that is not available in my home countries’ App Store. I cannot change the location because it requires a US bank account, I know it’s mostly free to open an account but I don’t wanna do that for only just a week.
Would I be able to change the location of the App Store using NordVPN?
I’d check Youtube for videos, there’s quite often videos uploaded with latest versions of iOS - as it did change front time to time.
There used to be a way to do it without adding an actual payment/card method, just by specifying the country and a ‘fake’ address.
Whether or not that is still the case, or possible without phone verification, I’m not sure.
App stores generally speaking won’t change region when you use just a VPN, they are either tied to your billing details or other details input during registration.
Some App stores may have an option to change their region, but this would have to be done via the App or if there is no such option, the support department behind the app store may be of help.
No. The app store location is based on your payment method, not your actual location.

Using NordVPN won’t change where your App Store is located by itself. To change the country of the App Store, you usually need to match your billing address and payment method in your Apple ID settings. You could use a VPN to get to content that is only available in certain regions, but to change your App Store location, you would still need an Apple ID and payment information from the US.
I’ll definitely check some videos, thanks for the help!
Thanks, that’s what I ‘feared’
