VPNs don’t even work, you will find like 2 actual bots but there are still sweats and because your using a vpn your ping will be high meaning your putting yourself at a disadvantage
If the goal is to improve server connection just use a geo filter. It’s perfectly save and no risk of a ban. I set a 500 mile radius around my home and my ping is always sub 10.
Using a VPN is hiding or changing your identity through third party software. It’s literally in the TOS. Whether they will enforce it is a different story. I think they have more on their mind and more pressing issues with ricochet.
So the goal of most is not to get the best connection it’s to get bot lobbies. Don’t fool yourself or anyone else just state what you’re using it for. No one really cares honestly.

You cannot and will not be placed in different location servers like UK or Middle East, etc. You still get little Timmy’s absolutely shitting on you. Only thing a vpn did was give a false sense of confidence which helped in that regard lmao

Get gud, play well, and it’ll place you in distant servers because EOMM doesn’t care about lag it is fine with you rubber banding around the map as long as you are within your recent performance skill bracket and it likely knows you’re going to lose. EOMM forces wins and losses.

its not that easy pal, you might be thinking youre good at the game because youre getting into good lobbies. but you dont realize that you ARE a part of the manipulation. there is not “getting good” anymore…
It’s against the ToS. The intention is also bad sportsmanship, but I’ve never heard of a player getting banned for it.

The only way around EOMM/sbmm is to smurf/2box and vpn as far as I’m aware this will enable you to get a mix of skill in lobbies. Not just an attempt into bot/noob lobbies but, I assume, what we all want, is a random mix of skill and not a tailored manipulation of only playing ourselves

Dude, don’t talk unless you’ve read through it. They specifically state that changing one’s geolocation for server accesses otherwise not available to that physical location is against the ToS.
It’s more intended for China where people are only legally allowed a specific amount of online time, BUT it doesn’t exclude the rest of us if they ever want to make a stink about the amount of abuse VPN’s put them through.
ALSO, IT’S BAD SPORTSMENSHIP TO ABUSE THE LOWER LEVEL LOBBIES! It’s one thing to choose baby mode when you’re playing a campaign, it’s another when you’re intentionally trying to get a speckle of dopamine from unsuspecting players still learning the game.
