Multicast is old and there are generations of solutions for it to run over MPLS backbones. Most recently MVPN/NGMVPN and whatever they’re calling it for the default table.

You have to be concerned about IGMP at the edge and PIM RP if you’re doing ASM. SSM is way easier.
