Why do you need such guaranteed anonymity and safety? What’s your use case? From what you’ve said here, you’ve never even used Tor so you’ll probably just be poking around. You can just download Tor Browser for that. Unless you’re actually doing something that could get you in trouble you don’t need to complicate things. Learn to crawl before you worry about running the 100m in the Olympics.

Oh my god, I’m sorry, I didn’t know I had to be a professor to answer your questions. But if you’re so worried about your privacy on the dark web, then perhaps I have the best possible advice for you to avoid the dangers: Don’t use the dark web.
But yeah, if you’re serious about your privacy and security, you’ll gonna have to do a little bit (a lot) of research yourself. It doesn’t matter, if I give you the best possible package of privacy/security in the world, if you’re gonna simply say out loud your real name in the end. “I can’t protect you from your own stupidity”. So yeah, study what to do and what not to do. The latter is more important than the former.
What do you mean by ‘gained access’? Installed TOR? I don’t think it’s as serious as you think it is. As others have said, what’s your use case?
The most experienced users are probably the ones who wrote Tors documentation. You should read it.

The greatest level of anonymity is what I’m looking to set up. I’m not looking to go from A-Z fast, but looking for A,B,C,D, etc for this outcome. If that makes sense.
I plan on taking a lot of time to study first before taking action. This is my first convo to get some basics, and plan to do a lot of research.
