So if i change the server I should be able to get in? I’ll try it once I get online, but If there’s players in EU and other countries having the same issues with error codes then what’s the difference? I just hope rivals posts something about it.
What about console players? As far as I can see there’s no options for selecting servers anywhere

Yeah it’s definitely a China thing then as I’m also in China and having this issue. It’s also strange because it shouldn’t be blocked as I have friends in China who can play it on PC fine. Give changing servers a go and let me know how it goes!
Simple server change wont work. Launcher tracks where you launching it, and if you do it without VPN you will see chinese version of launcher. At that moment you can play on chinese servers and only. If you are using VPN you will see EU version of launcher and the game wont pss you

Yeah I haven’t seen anything either. I thought more people would have our same issue. Idek how to contact Marvel rivals support (I don’t think they have any?), and no social media account has said anything either
dude same here, I also live in China rn and am getting the same error code. I just assumed the game would be all clear here as Disney is so popular in Shanghai and obviously Marvel is owned by them but idk i guess. just sucks bc i was so pumped for this
We might be cooked, Rivals hasn’t said anything about it yet. I know it’s only barely a week into the game’s launch but there’s multiple people dealing with multiple error codes. They could at least acknowledge it.
I thought so too. Other games have been fine on the Ps5 in China (even Overwatch) so I assumed this would be fine to play. I guess not, it is what it is.

small update - I did eventually get the game to work, but unfortunately the only way I ended up fixing it was by purchasing a UBOX. It’s basically an internet booster as well as a VPN, so it thinks i’m playing from america currently. I got it on taobao for about 150rmb, and then paid 180rmb for a year subscription. it’s worked like a charm so far! i definitely recommend if you’re really wanting to play
