I can’t even get ExpressVPN to authenticate with my new subscription and support just gave me their usual canned response. And the ole “try again later”.

Seems to be overloaded now. Failed to connect to Australia for me later this evening.

Maybe you have a small provider, which hasn’t implemented all trafic filtering which do big ones until recently.

Same thing. Worked great until couple o days ago. Now it’s connecting only to Australia (not Austria) but traffic didn’t flow through.

Have you tried Raifeissen? Ask them if they can use Capitalist.net or other services.

Thanks for the update! Aside from Spotify I don’t have any subscriptions, so if it’s good enough to get onto sites I need for work it’s good enough for me :slight_smile:

Oh, this is a known issue, since you don’t get to simply exchange data with ExpressVPN servers when you’re in Russia. If you’re not already logged in to your account on the app, you need another VPN connection to be able to authenticate. You may want to try AdGuard VPN with it’s free limited connection just to log on to ExpressVPN, and then continue to use that one.

I don’t have a Raifeissen account and they are pulling out of Russia in the next month or so. The only services they support are the ones I showed you.

I told them that but didn’t get a reply. Try Stolitoms vpn on iOS and android. Free or paid. Works very well with a lot of sites. Free is limited to Netherlands but paid you can choose anywhere.

  1. Bring a router compatible with ExpressVPN firmware.

  2. Bring a backup router, compatible with ExpressVPN firmware.

  3. download and bring ONLY beta firmware updates. Beta versions work better.

  4. ExpressVPN right now is stable in some US locations, not all of them. So far the best and most stable is Tampa 1.

  5. Psiphon VPN is free and works in Russia, however, it’s hard to get because you need to have a VPN to download it or ask them via email. Psiphon VPN is slow but will save the day in case of emergency. Not good for streaming.

Regarding connections to the US (so I can watch my favorite Disney and Hulu flix)

Los Angeles 5, Santa Monica work on my phone Tele2, Android.

Routers: LA1, LA2, LA3, New York, Chicago, Tampa.

Proton hasn’t been working for me ever since govt targeted it. But interestingly enough, AdGuard keeps working even when ExpressVPN has started to succumb to the pressure. Hmm.

None of those work for me at the moment.
