Hey there,
almost 1 year ago I purchased FastestVPN lifetime (as they claim…) subscription (for 2 devices) from Stacksocial for 14 USD. What a steal!
You can still get it for like 30 bucks (yeah for 10 devices LIFETIME) - still great price!
And I have to say, it works really great! Well, at least in Europe.
I live in the Czech republic, Prague is our capital (it is approx 250 km away from me).
Stable FTTH fiber-optic.
See pictures down below, 8 tests were performed, 4 without VPN and 4 with VPN connected.
I always connected to the same server on Speedtest.
VPN location: Prague (M247)
Protocol: Wireguard
FastestVPN connected to Prague using Wireguard
- Speedtest Lutin (closest server to me) - 50 km away

Ping is pretty solid too. Even playing CS2 without any packet loss!
And on top of that, their live support is great too! Always helped me.
Thanks for the post and comparison!
system was down 04/20/2024 AM
i emailed support, they admitted to the outage
and got the system back up again.
moral of the story; complain if it’s not working.
lifetime here,
what really sucks is since adding wireguard
there is no upgrade path, you either pay the
$2/mo, or buy another $40 “lifetime” AGAIN
so you can expect this company to find some
way to scam you out of even more money soon.
How’s torrenting/ P2P on Wireguard? Are the download/upload speeds decent?
I have this lifetime but it was before 2022 and they nerfed a bunch of features.
Upgrade to what? I am sorry, i don’t understand.
It worked fine, but I will test if for you.
redditor for 1 month
sorry, i don’t waste my time explaining the obvious
to paid shill trolls who clearly don’t use this product.
Thanks, any update on the P2P test?
typical
i’ve been using it for like 6 months
no1 gave me a sh*t, so behave ffs.
I can use wireguard without any upgrade wtf.
I’ve got Lifetime from 2020 and I upgraded to get Wireguard (only 3 dollars/month Canadian) and yeah the speeds qre quite decent. I don’t know what if any changes there are when you connect to one of their dedicateds P2P servers as compared to just sticking to a standard server.
When FastestVPN finally upgraded their service to include Wireguard, people who had older lifetime accounts didn’t get that particular part of the upgrade and so were required to spend an extra few dollars per month to actually get it. People with newer lifetime accounts didn’t have to do this. I think that was a bit shady on their part, I being in that group of people (Lifetime since 2020) who needed to cough up the extra $2-3 dollars per month to use their older Lifetime accounts with Wireguard). I’m not really complaining, 3 dollars is hardly anything anyway
Sometimes they offer $20 lifetime for wireguard. Check your emails for a promo offer.
Whoa, I see a new way companies can exploit this loop hole.
Well, any of their P2P servers are much slower than standard servers.
I use Wireguard only (Windows 10, WireGuard app).
Torrenting on their standard servers is just fine. Works well. I use it everytime.
