Firewalla Purple + Private Internet Access

I’m new to Firewalla (my purple just came today!) and have something of a basic question.

I’ve used Private Internet Access (PIA) for years. I have my FWP successfully setup, but I’m curious how it interacts with a non-Firewalla VPN client. PIA connects just fine with my FWP as the router on my network, but does this affect the FWP’s ability to monitor traffic?

For transparency, I’m trying to figure out the best approach for remaining safe and semi-anonymous online, but I’m unsure about the combining FWP and PIA.

I use Vypr as I dumped PIA after kape bought them…I force all my IOT stuff out the vpn with no issues. https://restoreprivacy.com/private-internet-access-kape-crossrider/

TYSM, I was completely in the dark on this. It’s too bad, I’ve been using PIA for years.
