Going to Afghanistan soon, any recommended VPNs?

Title says it all. I heard it’s the only way to be able to access Netflix, Hulu, and more lewd sites.

Anyone have any recommended ones or any experience with VPNs?

NordVPN! Highly recommended. Although it isn’t free it’s the best I’ve used. Plus you can use it on your phone, tablet, and laptop.

Nord VPN has been consistently rated in the Top 3 of several sites for many years.

Ominous Answer: This unit has heard great things about a service called “SkyNet.”

ExpressVPN is the best. And it works with Netflix.

Many VPNs won’t work with Netflix

Just start building a collection of shows and movies on your hard drive. Then same with porn.

Or just show up with a large hard drive, there’s going to be somebody with a hard drive full of shit.

Or make sure your laptop didn’t have the ‘courage’ to remove the disc drive, if so then just buy an external one. There’s going to be a library somewhere on most bases with movies, TV shows, and books that you can borrow. People buy all this bootleg shit from the LNs but they can’t bring it back, so most just donate it or pass it off.

You can also just get like WinX to rip the the from the discs.

I haven’t had to use a VPN in a while but last time I did, even the best ones slowed down the connection speed, and most bases in Afghanistan already have shitty internet speed.

I use the Avast SecureLine VPN in Afghanistan and have yet to be hacked or charged with national security crimes. Also Netflix doesn’t work with VPNs. You have to use it without one.

I used Air VPN, it worked with hulu the entire time, but with netflix was a different matter. Netflix would change how it handled VPN’s for a long time, so every two months or so we would have to scour the internet for solutions. My recommendation is to find the nerdy guy so he can install a wireless switch that can run the VPN through that; that way the entire tent only pays 1 subscription to the ISP and VPN. Porn worked fine on it, but I got most of my stuff like movies, tv shows, and back door sluts 9 from the hard drives that people brought over. Having a 32GB usb stick is important!

My favorite is Betternet VPN. I use the free unlimited version. But I will eventually upgrade.

I got you. Set up TeamViewer on a PC in a buddies room and leave it on. Forever. Once you get there just remote in and there you go.

ExpressVPN is my favorite as it’s incredibly fast, but it gets expensive so I usually go for PIA instead.

Pia has dns leaks … airvpn does not have any leaks, and it over all superior too all others

I ended up with NordVPN after doing some research. Was worth it, and I still use it at home.

Here’s the kicker: didn’t need it for Netflix at all. I was on BAF, and Netflix worked just fine, and treated me as if I was in the US. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t get it to recognize that I was in other locations, in order to watch things not available in the US. (After trying several different free/trial VPNs).

I don’t remember anymore but there was something weird with Hulu. I either needed it, or didn’t, but the ads didn’t load, so I had to wait 2x time.

I use SpyProof VPN. You pay $20 and you keep it. No monthly payments

YOOO @OP listen up man. I paid 60 bucks for an entire year subscription to HideMyAss. It has an in browser extension on Chrome or a standalone. Shit was great, let you choose your location to vpn through, and everything loaded as well as it could for internet in the 3rd world of the of the 3rdworld. Id start a show and pause, go shit/show/shave and come back and could watch it.

Also, get a USB or external HDD and load it with shit loads of shows.

The best one is Free VPN by FreeVPN.org
Find it on the website or the Apple store for free.

No additional setup super straight forward.

I’ve used Surfeasy VPN. Worked pretty well.

Bro we’re still gonna catch you, sorry

PIA is the best, and it’s not terribly expensive. Worth every penny.
