Ive read that NordVPN blocks port forwarding and thus is not a good option for private trackers where you need to keep a good ratio.
What is a good VPN for this matter? AirVPN looks pretty good to me, does anyone have experience with it?
Also, can i configure the VPN so that it only affects my torrent client? On many private trackers, youre not allowed to access the website with a vpn. I will be seeding almost the entire time that my pc is running so that would be an obstacle.
Air vpn is great only down side (for me) no local servers so I can’t use one close to me. Some vpns have split tunnelling which will let you choose how or what apps go through vpn though Torguard will give you a proxy too, put that into your torrent client and off you go. Windscribe also have one, least when I checked year or two ago.
I actually have one right now. Ultraseedbox 750 GB.
I almost only download Remux content and its just not enough space. And its seeding for 200-300 kbps most of the time so what do i need it for if i have to download the files through FileZilla anyway?
I think i might just be better off buying a 4TB HDD and a VPN.
I’ve used thisthis tutorial dedicated to qBittorent with no problems so for for about 1.5 years, maybe give it a shot. It’s made for NordVPN but I’m sure you can try to give it a shot with AirVPN.
Can you elaborate on that? Will that give me the same amount of protection (no IP and DNS leak) only for qBittorrent? And i can use anything else with my normal Internet connection?
Using split tunnelling is your best bet so everything will go through your vpn and be protected (check etc). Then you allow apps etc though the split tunnelling with-in the vpn and that will be normal traffic ( say chrome) I don’t trust proxies as they aren’t encrypted.
Can i set up AirVPN so that it only affects my torrent client? Like i said in the post i cant access the website with the vpn running. I dont really know how all of this works.
