Google One VPN was working in Mac Ventura 13.3.1 until i installed the MacOS security update from a couple days ago. Now it won’t turn on. There’s also no VPN profile for it in settings. Tried removing the security update and reinstalling but still can’t start the VPN. Installation gives no errors. NordVPN works. Any ideas?
FIXED (I hope). Just tried again and this time got an advice “System Extension Blocked.” Go to System Settings:Privacy and Security and look for the advice the system extension was blocked and allow it. Working again.
Try to reinstall it. Actually you need to allow in your settings (this security thing if it’s allowed to run at you).
I’m having this problem as well.
I have the problem too. I think it’s a bug. Also couldn’t find a solution
It is working for me. Running Ventura 13.3.1 (a). Maybe they released an update for Google One VPN?
For me one Mac on 13.3.1 (a) works fine and one Mac on 13.3.1 (not a) doesn’t work
Recently the Google One VPN app version 1.4.x to 1.5.0. I think the bug occurred because of this.
This fixed my issue too. Thanks!! On Ventura 13.4.
Pls read the original post. I did reinstall without success.
I’ve been having this problem for over two weeks now, see: https://www.reddit.com/r/GoogleOne/comments/12rvole/comment/jh0w5ss/?context=3.
Do you see vpn profiles in one or both?
I’m not home right now and I’m not sure, but I think Google One doesn’t use a VPN profile anyway
Definitely does in iOS. Don’t know about macOS but nothing in my M1 system.
Just checked the one where it works, there is a VPN profile
Thanx. Not in mine. Will keep trying reinstalls.
