Hard Rock Sports Book (Florida)

Has anyone got the location error on the sportsbook app? I am definitely in Florida and it is not letting me place a new bet.

My first bet went through without any problems, but now I am getting the location error but I am still in the same place I made my first bet.

I get it whenever I forget to turn off my VPN.

Try using data not wifi. Force close tge app then open it again.

If you have access to something like Bovada don’t put a dime into this sports book and head back over there. It is complete garbage and I hope people don’t spend their hard earned money there until they make some changes.

Yes. I deleted and reinstalled the app and has been working fine since.

You have to mess with your settings and allow the app to track you at all times.

I get it when I’m on WiFi outside my house. I think some router IP addresses may be based outside Florida and turning off WiFi can fix

I spent way too much of my Saturday on the phone with tech support for this issue. Uninstalled/reinstalled, removed GPS Spoof and VPN apps and still got the same error. They said it was due to another app that was messing with my location (a little concerned that they were able to see other apps on my phone, but that’s another thread all together). Installed it on an old tablet and haven’t had that issue since. Same Wi-Fi network. Go figure.

The current Android OS doesn’t seem to allow the app to have location access 100% of the time. Only “while app is in use”. I can see the location icon pop up in my notification bar when I open the app and intermittently after. Not sure if this is causing the issue, but something worth noting.

Idk in CT I have to use my phone. My PC is hardwired and it won’t verify my location with DraftKings. Phone on WiFi or off wifi both work.

just close your app and open it again. it’s happens to me at least twice a day

Can you use hard rock in NJ?

Just uninstall it and reinstall works perfect

Make sure you have the sportsbook app and not the casino app

Only if the other books get permission to open. Right now it’s HR or offshore

In regards to what you commented they pulled the alt lines to adjust and brought them back. Bovada can be a pain at times like recently I haven’t been able to chat with customer service for whatever reason. But until I used this hard rock sports book I didn’t know how good I had it with Bovada. Alt lines are terrible, teasers are terrible, Can’t parlay or tease same game, can’t tease basketball and football together, can’t parlay player props, limited sports you can bet, withdraw takes forever, takes forever for your win to be declared a win, There are a few other things I can’t think of but the only thing that I find better about this book is that it is legal.

I had some similar feelings. HR has got a lot to do to really compete with legit and offshore books. It has taken some learning to figure out what you can and can not do on the HR app. I thought the same about the withdrawals but found out it depends on what account you are withdrawing to. I withdrew to my bank account first time and it took 3 days but when I did another to my Venmo account it was instant. I also like how quick you can deposit using HR versus Bovada. If you can’t find a Matchpay user or Bitcoin takes forever sometimes you will miss some action you wanted to bet on, has happen to me so many times. All in all it could be way better but not so terrible. I have been switching between both lately. I use my bitcoin bonus on Bovada and then go over to HR for some instant action if my Bovada account is out of funds lol.

Yes, this. The instant deposits have already paid for themselves over here, I’ve been at zero balance and been able to pounce on good live lines in less than a minute with the instant deposits. I always miss the good ones on bovada, they change while I wait for Bitcoin, and when my funds finally show up I end up reaching by betting the new (worse) line anyway. I agree hard rock is very low tech in comparison, and the betting options are extremely limited and USA-centric, but for whatever reason I have been killing it on Hard Rock with live lines. Also I’ve noticed that the odds are slightly different on the two books, and usually one of two options has better odds on one book and the other option has better odds on the other book. There’s no reason not to have both, really.

Can I get bovada in FLORIDA?
