Help please! I don’t know why I am getting this error! (Explanation in the comments)
Hi everyone, my friend only introduced me to this game last night, and I have had the same error since. I know what it translates to (Connection error, please try downloading in an area with a more stable connection) but when I retry or go back to the title page, nothing changes and it’s always there. But the thing is, my Wi-Fi is fine! I’m sitting right next to my modem and it’s still not working! I’ve even connected to my portable Wi-Fi thing and that’s not helping either!
I don’t know what to do to fix this and it’s extremely frustrating because I’m very excited to play this game. 
If anyone could please help me get rid of this I would be so happy…
Hey OP try to use VPN that located in Japan
Hi there, you’ll need a VPN (in Japan) for the initial stage of setting up an account (or for when you’re transferring your account across devices), after which you can disable it (when it starts downloading data). Documentation on this requirement is probably a little sparse at the moment because it was introduced only about a month or so ago.

Well,I don’t play CGSS with a VPN in Japan,but it can be always connectted.
Maybe you just need a place where have a better wifi.
The VPN may work but don’t change a lot.
I played this last year and the game used to not require a vpn and now I also have this error, I almost deleted all my games because I thought it might be a storage problem… if you’re still stuck on this error just download any vpn(I’m using the one with cat) app in app store and pick japan and connect… also you can turn off the vpn when the game starts downloading with girls n the background to download much faster…
