Trying to figure out best option for VPN for a small firm (20) and roughly what it costs? Thanks!
What is the VPN doing for you?
Depending on what you need it for it can be as simple as signing up for OpenVPN as a service and paying $5/person/month, or it may mean purchasing and installing $100 VPN routers at each end of the tunnel with no monthly cost.
Our router, Netgear nighthawk r6700 from Amazon, has VPN for free. We use it with OpenVPN and haven’t paid anything.
I paid an IT firm to set them up. I have 3. I think it cost me around $400, which Included coordinating with the remote workers and ensuring everything functions. I’m sure it could be done cheaper but I didn’t touch or think about it.
Look at log me in pro
We did up to 25 computers and got locked in at $80 per month paid annually.
We love it.
It’s free if you use OpenVPN or similar open source software, though you may have to pay someone to set it up if you don’t have the tech know how. This is a common way to do it.
Look at NordVPN or Norton VPN. I use Norton.
