How streamers do it

They most likely 2 box

Most of them are cheaters, they use VPN to get into Bot lobbies too. Devs don’t care either because it’s advertising.

Ppl are good at the game. Also a lot of streamers play on PC. I used to play on ps5 120hz on a monitor. I switched over to PC a while back. It’s night and day difference.

I can get 250-420 fps , I have a 480hz monitor. My controller is overclocked. I use art is war tune. My CPU is overclocked. My RAM is tuned higher, etc. It’s night and day difference on what pc can do to the point it’s not fair for those on console. That doesn’t mean every person that switches to PC will automatically get way better but for those that are already good at the game would be even better on a high end pc.

So basically I believe streamers are good (yes some may cheat) but they also probably all have pretty expensive pc setups and additional features added to said setups.

Cheating.
Either by cronus, wall hacks or VPN.

They cheat. It’s pretty simple. Anyone getting 30+ kills is most likely cheating.

I usually get 10-15. Once every two weeks I get a 20 bomb. I tend to think software assistance for anyone getting 25+ every game. Cheaters are in a ton of my lobbies. Can tell pretty easy.

Imagine a car ease a Ferrari against Honda civics. Who’s going to win?they have 10k and up PC with incredibly low latency.

Idk if these people are cheating or not but it’s not impossible to drop 20+kills on a regular basis, obviously not every game that would be crazy but having 5+ 20 kill games a day especially if you are 2boxing (which 99% of streamers are) is easier than you would think if that person has a 2KD and is semi good at the game.

Zen and VPN lobbies.

Lol not every good player is cheating. Can’t wait for the downvotes from people who can’t accept what I’m saying but my IRL best friend gets 20-25 kills in duos every “good” game we play (make it to last 10 teams at least). 30+ is way harder and he only gets a couple of those a week. And as others have said, there’s definitely big selection bias in what you’re watching on the internet–he dies on the drop or only gets 5 kills before losing PLENTY of the time.

Some of it is flat out skill; if we try a new game we’ve never played before he’s automatically 3x better than me and I never catch up. Most of it is game sense; he is SO patient and disciplined during fights. He knows every single “hidden” jump/climb spot on the map to trick people out during fights. Movement in general is crazy sweaty.

Hardware definitely isn’t everything. He runs a 9th gen i9 and ran a 2070 Super until upgrading to 4070 Ti Super in mid 2024. Still a sick setup but years behind what most streamers are running.

the ones that play solos are quite good at the game, if you know rotations, positioning and when to take fights you can easily get 10 kills. gamesense is insanely useful.

Any good player can get 20-30 kills in without any 3rd party software, but most content creators use a VPN, Geofence, or 2-Box to get easier lobbies. Or even all 3 if they really wanna maximize their chances.

But you still have to actually be good enough and play really aggressive to get the kills, playing safe won’t get you near 30, and most of the time dying just once will ruin your chances.

A lot of streamers have white listed accounts which essentially turns off SBMM. Like if you look at aydan play a lot of people he runs into are lost, not to take away he’s the best of the best. But that’s how the bigger streamers dropping anywhere from 30-80 kills a game

Have a fast enough reaction time you could have gone pro.

It’s like asking how does Curry make all these 3s? Is he cheating?

VPN alone helps a lot, even with someone whose kd/r - going back to verdansk/Caldera era when Caldera was new. Before the devs added a FOV slider on console. Being able to change the FOV was considered the difference between console & PC when it was first introduced with Cold War/Caldera

I used to play with someone, his kd sat around 1.00. With his internet setup he would use his VPN to get servers located in Mexico and or locations where they might as well have AOL dial up stuff. I used to use wifi, but when spectating him when I’d die, he might as well had speed hacks and etc etc compared to others. Even just a gaming monitor compared to a 50+inch tv is a pretty stark difference

Literally just VPN and getting the situation above, I’d compare to ps3 multiplayer. When whoever was host of the lobby combined with having good internet back then. If the person had just an bove average like a 2-3 kd in bo2 & mw2 it would be vsat/dogs/swarms on repeat… or multiple moab or 20+ streaks in one match.

Anyone miss bo2 ground war lobbies? Running into full parties with everyone having a 10+ kd on ps3 wifi was always fun

Vpn mostly. But hitting your shots isn’t streaming exclusive lol.

Most these kids stay at home all day and play the game. I’d hope they’re better than most casuals

Crazy how many people here automatically assume every streamer is cheating. Why is it so hard to believe that these young kids who have spent 12+ hours every day for the last few years playing 1 game, are so good at it.

You play 10-12 hours a day you’re gonna be pretty damm good at it.
