It seems that the Delhi and Mumbai virtual locations no longer exist, as they have been replaced by a single India (Virtual) location. Surfshark was already rather dicey as an Indian VPN after the physical servers were axed. And now this. I didn’t know until my phone lost all VPN connectivity, and then I noticed that the Mumbai location was gone.

You are not seeing the locations as they are both currently under maintenance. We do not have an exact ETA for when they will be back, but we are working on this situation with priority!
Any alternatives that you’d recommend, specifically for Hotstar?
Coz since this change was put in place, I haven’t been able to watch Modern Family (getting a geo error)…

Any updates? None of indian geo restriced apps are working
Same here. My observation is that when the IP address is 172. Or 176. Something (not 97. Something) streaming works. But now they’re not giving us those addresses.
Try protonvpn.com. Get the free trial first. They have a. Indian virtual server. Might be worth a try. Post back your results.
Oh OK! Anyway hopefully after the maintenance work is done things will be back to normal.
