It’s been for 3 days and this issue persists and I got no reason why.

My data plan is not finished
Wifi either on and off still fails
Enough space on device (4~ GB left)
The problem:
Whenever I try to login, do anything that requires server interaction, it just takes AGES to do anything. I am playing in a wide area, with maximum connectivity and speed.
I have 100mb over Wifi, and still won’t load anything, permanently shows the Connecting screen.
This is driving me nuts and I do not know what can I do, and TM is starting in like an hour and I feel like I will spend more time waiting for the Spinning Wheel to end it’s crappy connection screens than playing the mode itself.
Started happening to me. Every small thing like feeding a turtle could take minutes, sometimes they took seconds, sometimes minutes. Try using a VPN, it solved it for me (Personally using a free one called Turbo VPN from Play Store)
Also since you say its for TM i guess you’re on global, i did this on JP, i dont know if it changes anything…
In the last post, someone commented that maybe the problem is with the provider of the internet, because a few moths ago some people had the same problem with another game and its was an internal update of the provider security.
Mine is Movistar, maybe thats why changing the VPN works…
I have this same problem and tried everything I could, reinstalled the game, repaired resources, wifi, data connection, VPN and nothing seems to work.
I am actually thinking of leaving the game after three years because is virtually unplayable now, today I tried TM and in one hour I haven’t reached whitebeard yet.

Hey, I had the same issue some months ago when we had the first blitz battle. Loading times were insane or sometimes couldn’t even login. Tried everything but had to skip it in the end. I can’t say for sure it it’s the same this time but in my opinion you can’t do much here.
Twitter has some problems lately, so loading times are crap because the app is also trying to connect to Twitter sometimes. Yesterday was terrible when feeding my turtles, a lot of retry popups
It takes ages for me if I’m connected with Wifi. I use LTE for logging in and for the first loading of the friend list. Wifi would take around 2-5 minutes while LTE only takes ~10 seconds.
I suppose you’re on global, but when this happens to me on JPN, I restart my phone at first, if persist I go and look for different connections, by switching from phone data and different wifis till I find a stable one, play a little on that connection and magically fix the others too
I solved it with VPN, told OP and it worked for him too so maybe u should give VPN another try. I do it with Turbo VPN, free in playstore and it solved it for me
