IP address Location change through VPN

i’ve subscribed to a dedicated IP address VPN service , where The server IP located in another location, the vendor supports openvpn, openconnect, wireguard protocols.

I’m worried about my traffic to be identified as originating from VPN server, or it’s safe since this a dedicated IP VPN server? do using different protocols have any effect on this specific point , or either protocol in such low to moderate browsing traffic won’t really matter much.

You can test the IP address in https://www.ip2location.com/demo and then see if it has been detected as VPN.

Proxy Type field ? ?? >> (VPN) VPN Server

Yupe, it has been detected as VPN.

Many thanks, that the real answer for the question.

May you recommend what should be done to avoid this problem.

i had tried setting different proxy server unrelated to this vendor, but still the proxy identified as VPN

Have you consider residential proxy? It is less detectable.

NO, i need to inform myself about it, will check what’s the best option in my case, and if there any, or maybe do it on an AWS machine or something.

Many thanks for you help

AWS would be even easier to detect. It’s a no go on the residential proxy as well since most sites like IPQualityScore are easily capable of detecting those. Your only option would be to find a seller who has IPs that aren’t fingerprinted yet. You would have to request screenshots of scans of the IP from IPQS before paying money. If it’s not detected on IPQS, the chances of it being detected on other sites are minimal.
