Is it me or is NordVPN cheaper on Amazon than the NordVPN website?

I’m about to purchase a 1 year plan for just the basic VPN package for NordVPN. On amazon it is 29.98 for 1 year.

On the NordVPN website if I was to go for the basic plan during the black friday sale its $80.73 (for 2 years + 3 months).

Am I misunderstanding something or is it just cheaper to get NordVPN from amazon rather than straight from NordVPN website?

I wonder what would happen if you buy a basic 1 year for $29.98 and then buy a one year NordVPN Complete for one year. Would we then get 2 years of NordVPN Complete?

Can I add this Amazon code to my existing plan and have it extended?

its always been cheaper to buy codes (on sale) then buy direct

I also ended up buying just a one year once for 29.98 on Amazon. Seems to be working perfectly!

Be aware that if you bought previous subscription through a third party, subscription won’t be extended, but you will have to subs running at same time

I have asked on X. They have replied saying yes, it will be extended with no issues. So I am adding the two years from Amazon.
