I just updated my YouTube app and now all of a sudden I have ads.
Yes, YouTube v19.21.3 has their new ad system implemented to all adblockers are hit. You can try Brave Browser, Firefox Browser, or Video Lite
Try to delete YouTube and then turn off and turn on iPhone - turn on adblockluna, and then install YouTube again.
I recommend the BluePlayer app on iPhone for YT videos watching.
Hi OP, thanks for letting us know and apologies for the delay. YouTube has implemented some experimental changes in recent months which has caused ads to not be blocked properly.

Hi OP, we have implemented a fix that restores adblocking on YouTube. Note that after turning the VPN on, it may take some time before the YouTube adblocking goes into effect (up to 12 hours), but usually much shorter. Alternatively, you may also delete / reinstall the YouTube app to force the VPN to immediately use the updated adblocking method, if you prefer.

So I made a short cut that I changed the icon of this app to look like the YouTube app icon.
Do you know how to stop the shortcut notification from popping up?
