I see that US users now get a pop up when they open the app, saying that it’s unavailable. Does it still say this if you use a VPN with your location set outside the US?

Works with non datacenter ip. They banned all known datacenter ip ranges (which is why many people says it doesn’t work for them, they are on a regular vpn like nordvpn with servers in a datacenter.) Get a residential ip VPN. Reinstall the app and make a new account, or use the website.

I am an American who is currently traveling internationally and it stopped working for me at the same time it stopped for everyone back home. I tried on the cell service and connected to WiFi’s here, I am locked out.

I don’t think the specific VPN service you use will make a difference.

I don’t live in the US so Tik Tok is still working fine for me. Plus all the American accounts are still there.

TikTok doesn’t just use your ip it uses sim location witch you can not change unless you are on an android

when i try to create a new account it tells me to use the ios app to verify new account creation

i tested on paid protonvpn, residential proxy and ovh vps wireguard. i can view website but i cant create a new account

First off without TikTok’s source code it’s gonna be almost impossible to come up with a bypass not to mention TikTok is coded in 3 languages Java swift and c and TikTok uses sim locations so a vpn won’t work
