Is using ZenMate chrome extension enough?

I use this extension, ZenMate, I want to ask if using it is enough to keep me safe from some eyes (GOV, PUBLIC PLACES, ETC). And how can I be secured as fuck when using chrome? I don’t want to be traced at all! I use incognito with all my accounts signed out, with Ghostery and Collusion. Should I use a live CD Tails to all my stuff I view anonymously? Or are the options I use enough?

You trust Google? Use TAILS.

Don’t use Ghostery, they sell your data if you have a certain option checked, which made me lose all trust even though I didn’t have it checked. (Quite ironic too) I use disconnect for chrome, basically the same think but much simpler and a lot smoother.

I read their TOS and privacy policy seems they are fair.

It’s enough if you want to access blocked content. I use ZenMate because I want to use Youtube at my workplace. If you are looking for security get yourself a Real VPN like PIA, IPVanish or ibVPN.

|Uses Tails

What??

I don’t use any of my Google IDs while incognito, so you think my info will be shared otherwise? And I use 2 VPNs, one with my whole OS, and one for chrome.

Are you suggesting Zenmate gives out my true IP?

Are you talking about he “GhostRank” option?

So you’re saying you link to 3 of bestvpnservice.com’s affiliate links out of the kindness of your own heart?

You’ve posted ^ that pre-formatted response several times, do you actually claim to not own bestvpnservice.com?

I’m suggesting that I don’t trust Chrome because I don’t trust Google and they created Chrome. I have no idea if Zenmate gives out your true IP. And seeing as you are using 2 VPNs’ I doubt it’s possible. I don’t trust Google. I use TAILS or Tor over a VPN. Have you checked your IP or run a DNS Leak Test?

I don’t quite remember what it was, but just try out Disconnect, I found it a lot better anyways

Yeah I don’t own Bestvpnservice.com nor do I get any profit share nor they are affiliate Links. I’m the Content Marketer (freelance) of several other websites as well. And plus the providers I recommend are only when anyone asks for it!

I already use tails for the sensitive stuff, but the usual day to day I use chrome with 2 VPNS and a bunch of trusted extensions that block tracking sites and make surfing safer. And year I did test and check my IP, more than 13 sites showed the same IP (not mine), I wanted to make sure it was all working well. What is the possibility someone can track me using that method?

nor they are affiliate Links

Those 3 links are affiliate links… they 301 redirect and generate commission for bestvpn’s owner(s)

The PIA link redirects to > https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/best-vpn-service-offer

The IPVanish link redirects to > https://signup.ipvanish.com/?a_aid=bvsaffiliates123

Most likely the ibVPN link is also an affiliate link

And plus the providers I recommend are only when anyone asks for it!

Why don’t you link directly to the providers without affiliate links? you choose to use bestvpn’s affiliate links

You also link to bestvpn more than you link anywhere else… looks to me like you are promoting them

None that I can think of unless maybe both VPNs go down at the same time and even then probably not. Personally I just don’t trust Google or any of their products. They make money by collecting data. Why do you use Chrome instead if Tor in Firefox?

I wasn’t asked to give those links, I figured I somehow am associated with them I might as well share a link to their website.

I use TOR in Firefox, but sometimes when connecting to IRC or any other service, I use zenmate to hide my IP address!

Linking directly to blatent affiliate links is not going to make anyone trust you very much
