It looks like reserveohio.com got worse

Unless I’m overlooking it or have my settings screwed up, the only filters available are campsite hookups - no pets, no pad length, no back-in / pull through. When you get to the campsite list, the description is only site number and availability - you now have to click each one to see if the camper will fit on the pad or even to see what type of hookups are available (assuming you made multiple site choices in the filter).

Why would they do this?

The whole system has been awful for the past couple of years since they relaunched the website, I’m sorry that it seems to be getting worse

We had no problems using it last year, but this year when I tried to schedule, I could chose the site, but then nothing more happened. There was no way to actually select it, pay for it, etc. I thought it was just my iPhone, but had the same issue on an Android. I would guess that many campers are on the road and that bookings are more typically done thru a mobile interface than an online one. I ended up calling the reservation phone number and while I eventually was able to book, the system must have been giving the customer service person I was dealing with issues as well as I had to give her the same information many times before it finally accepted it. This is definitely not a change for the better, but I did save the reservation phone number for the future.

I was trying to access the site last night and kept getting 403 forbidden errors. I realized I had my VPN on Canada - switched it to US and it worked. Why would they block a reservations website to Canadian devices? Someone sitting in Ontario can’t reserve campsite in their neighboring state. Another strange decision.
