I have Kaspersky Security Cloud Free which comes with the VPN. I keep getting notifications that it can’t connect to My Kaspersky from the VPN program. However when I check both the VPN and antivirus nothing seems to be wrong? I can still update the virus database (though for some reason it doesn’t matter how recently I’ve updated it, there’s always something to download). I’ve already tried uninstalling then reinstalling them but it still happens. Anyone know what’s going on?
With Kaspersky Security Cloud installed and running, install the free version of Kaspersky’s VPN, accept its terms and then on completion open the VPN and click the Profile tab on the left. It should show you as signed in with your Kaspersky account e-mail and that your free daily limit is increased to 300 MB. Sign in if required.
Use the Security Cloud app to open your My Kaspersky account page. Once logged in, click on the Secure connection tab, and it will show you your current connection status and usage.
In the Subscriptions tab, you will see your Security Cloud and Kaspersky VPN Secure connection subscriptions, plus mobile, if used.
In the devices tab, your computer will be shown with two green icons, one for Security Cloud, the other for the VPN.
If you disconnect or reconnect the VPN, use the Security Cloud app to reopen the My Kaspersky page.
When manually updating Security Cloud, the animation is virtually the same, regardless how often you press it. Security Cloud is either downloading nothing (if no new update), or re-downloading the previous database update.
Thanks for the advise, guys. I got rid of the VPN and am no longer getting pop up. Hopefully theres nothing else to it.
Just get rid of it. If you want an actually good free VPN then look at ProtonVPN or Windscribe.
Just use mullvad vpn
there’s a free vpn you can use called proton vpn. id just ditch kasperfly vpn if i were you
Yeah, I started having this annoying “Kaspersky can’t connect to My Kaspersky” crap a couple of days ago too but I checked that everything was ok with it but I kept having that annoying pop-up for some reason.
Today I ended up login out from “My Kaspersky” to stop receiving those annoying pop-ups. Let’s see if login out fixes that annoying issue.
