Leaving PureVPN

After numerous app crashes and reinstalls, poor speed, incorrect IP locations (!), and now learning that they make it difficult to cancel your subscription, I’m leaving them and will never use them again.

For clarity on cancelling your subscription: Their own documentation describes a “Cancel Subscription” button that doesn’t exist. It goes on to say that you should contact support if you have any trouble, which I did. They told me they cannot cancel my subscription (LOL) and that they would hand it off to the billing team who will contact me over email. There is absolutely no programmatic reason to not have a “cancel subscription” button or to allow support people to cancel it - it can only be a strategy to retain members by making it difficult to cancel (some people will give up or forget to follow through).

I recommend leaving this company behind immediately.

Yep, there is no way to cancel that I can see. Ive asked in this forum. Ive put in a ticket and a guy named Adam just explained to me the benefits of “keeping PureVPN” with giving me no option to cancel. Im about to file a BBB complaint.

There is absolutely no reason to block people from cancelling this hard. This feels like forced compliance. I’ve checked everywhere I can and I literally just can’t find anything and this company is making it hell to try to cancel.

I want a refund at this point.

Agree wholeheartedly! These people drag you through a kafkaesque process when you try to cancel and delete your account. I have never ever seen worse. Stay away!

This is terrible, absolute scam, reporting to BBB theres absolutely no cancel button what a scam!!! WATCH OUT FOR PURE VPN YOU WILL BE SCAMMED
