Mullvad can’t create secure connection today across Russia, is there an issue with Mullvad itself or is it just our government tries to block access to another vpn?
As a russian I hate Roskomnadzor so much at this point. Just paid mullvad for a year a month ago, and now this. Thanks.
Glad that a few servers are still working, but unfortunately, that’s probably not for long.

Just checked it on two ISPs, it seems so. No servers worked for me. Fuck Russian government.
Had this kind of bug few times in Eastern Europe. Seems like after introducing Quantum-Resistant-Tunnel key exchange is prone to glitching when using multi-hop. Maybe happens because of packet loss, else you could try enable upd-over-tcp with custom port 443

You might want to try some new servers they just added, since they might not on the block list.
Our Russian side connections still works, so i am sure that some servers are still operating. We do as follows - we downloaded all options of the OpenVPN and Wireguard configs and cycle over them. When our internal server does not work we do as follows:
We grab configs in random order, connect to them. Then for two minutes we ping our HTTP host to see if network is really working or not. If it’s working and endpoint see other that our real IP - we continue. If not we just get another host from the list.
So far it’s able to connect everywhere after 8-9 tries, so it’s not DPI, just normal IP blocking.
This happens ALL the time on iOS. The only way around it is to keep switching servers. And even then, it’ll say it’s connected when it really isn’t/Internet doesn’t work sometimes. The latest updates seemed to initially fix it, but then it got worse for me.
Yeah, works on PC, but not on the mobile app.
Any good alternative VPN’s with obfuscation or shadowsocks support?

Try switching from wireguard to openvpn server. I’m using ovpn swedish server and it works.
Maybe instead of hiding, fight the government.

i think this is just a problem with russian servers specifically but if this ever happens with all locations, check if you exceeded your wireguard key limit. that happened to me and i couldn’t connect to anything
