My 2-year NordVPN subscription is about to end. What are some alternative VPN services for use in the United States for PC and Android?

Or should I just renew NordVPN?

I once got a message from a website that said something along the lines of “(technical stuff)…if you are using a VPN, find a better one” is why I’m asking today.

EDIT:

Proton VPN wins the popular vote.

Proton VPN. Supports port forwarding AND is bundled with both Proton Mail and their other services for that price. ($12.99/mo for the Unlimited service.)
And is fast no matter where you are located.

Being able to generate email aliases helps immensely too.

It’s also not based in a 14-Eyes country. (Switzerland)

Proton, it’s been fast, reliable, and their being based in Switzerland is a bonus. Plus the people in charge are actual software engineers and physicists, not venture capital bros or MBA people.

I’ve been a Windscribe user for years, and absolutely love it. Zero issues.

Personally I just upload all my torrents to real debrid and convert them to direct downloads. 90% of the time they’re already cached too

Protonvpn. My nord expired and went with them

I’ve enjoyed PIA for the last six years.

proton, theyre the biggest vpn that allows port forwarding (which will make torrenting much faster)

Proton VPN definitely is the best and most trustworthy in the market right now. Great speed, port forwarding and one of the few providers actually owning own data centers instead of just using data centers.

Mullvad, the more advertised the vpn is the less i trust them

moved to ProtonVPN after Nord expired, never looked back

you probably shouldnt be using nord, icl

I’ve been using proton for 2 years. Glad to see the comments tell me I’m right.

I got Surfshark after Nord and it is way faster, more reliable, and much better for torrenting

Proton VPN

Honorouble mentions: Windscribe, AirVPN

Nord is garbage. Mullvad is 10000% faster.

Mullvad is the GOAT.

Proton is close second.

That’s it.

Ive been very happy with PIA.

I don’t know what people have against private internet access. I’ve used it for over a decade and saved a bunch compared to the alternatives. It’s never let me down.

I use Windscribe. They have promo RN for 29 euro a year and have port forwarding.
