New eero pro 6 router, no can't connect to work VPN?

We recently swapped out our old router for an eero pro 6, and suddenly I can’t connect to my work VPN. We’re using the same everything else–same machine, same VPN client with same settings, same Internet. Is there something in router setup I need to do to allow it to allow me to VPN?

I think past posts in this realm had folks try to disable IPV6, Eero Secure if enabled, or flat out just try enabling and connecting to the Guest Network (if the device is a wifi laptop) to see if the VPN would work.

The previous poster is definitely on the right track! Try disabling the Wifi 6 option and if that doesn’t work, check to see if the guest network allows it. That will help us isolate the issue. Please DM us with the results so we can help investigate further.

I had this problem with AnyConnect. The only workaround was to use Eero’s guest network. It’s a problem combining windows 11 + Anyconnect + Eero.

Any update to this u/eerosupport ? I have been having this issue in our environment as well for months, ever since we upgraded to Windows 11. Our users user desktops at home, and using guest network isn’t an option.

I don’t see an explanation or proper solution to this. I have the same issue though my VPN is not totally no-connect but drops a lot of data. When switching to guest, all is good.

So what is needed to make “normal” connection work w/the VPN (Cisco AnyConnect)
