New build 4.4 no seeds with Nordvpn on can not watch anything. Nordvpn off tons of seeds I can watch everything. Turn Ipvanish on to check and had no problem watching any show or movie.
That’s weird, I’m using nordvpn with no problems with 4.4
So, we have users claiming there NordVPN is blocking PopcornTime and other saying everything is fine…
Sound like there are more investigation to do.
Which VPN client are you using ?
Which VPN server location ?
What is the DNS set with your VPN ?
I’m new to popcorn time.
I too am having problems with NordVPN. I’ve tried a few different servers, but gets stuck waiting for torrents.
When I turn off vpn, it seems to work.
This is on Android, Samsung s20.

+1 on PopcornTime not working with NordVPN.
I tested now with NordVPN Windows client 6.33.10 and 4.4 but I can’t remember if it has ever worked at all.
Tested VPN locations in France, US, Ger, P2P Specialized Server.
Tested with DNS setting on auto, Also tested with personalized DNS 0.0.0.0
Without the VPN it works fine… that’s strange.

Untick ‘Enable VPN’ in popcorn time settings > connection.
That fixed it for me. I think the problem was that it was still somehow pushing NordVPN through the PopcornTime VPN.
Personalized DNS 0.0.0.0 while not works as 0.0.0.0 will fail. Better settings it to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 which are cloudflare DNS. But it’s a bit weird that all other locations fails.
