Phone vpn issues

Ive set up a wireguard server for a personal VPN in another state. I then restored my iPhone from a backup and now everytime I connect to the VPN neither cell data or wifi works. But when I turn the VPN connection off everything is fine. What should I do?

This is a new issue. Before restoring my phone I never had issues with my VPN. Also I restored the phone from backup because I just unlocked my iPhone.

Possibly due to this new and weird IP address

Sounds like the VPN keys or address or DNS are incorrect. Without more info there is no way to know.

Gotcha. I’m a beginner. How can I find the VPN address or DNS? By logging into the server ?
