India passed a law a while back that highly regulates VPNs. No log VPNs such as this one are illegal there now. Only VPNs that log data and allow the government to see it for 5 years are allowed in India. Every time this happens the servers are removed from that country.

Are you based in India? Why are you trying to connect to India? There are really strict laws against no log VPNs there which is probably why PIA had to shut down operations there.
There’s some black hat proxy services that operate in India. But yeah as others have stated, the new law in India makes it so very few legitimate providers are going to bother operating there.
Do you not keep up with current news India has shut down the internet in several areas recently.
What’s the recourse for someone who bought 2 year subscription only to connect to Indian servers
This is the correct answer. Has anyone found another provider that has servers there? I’ve tried a few with no luck.
