Playing on Singapore Server from South Korea - NEED HELP WITH PING!

I play on the Singapore server so I can play with all my friends - from south korea i get around 70-90 average ping. The past week it was around 110 which is more than usual but didnt think much of it. Then suddenly yesterday, i went on i had 280 ping, i thought maybe it was a fluke and it was my internet.

So i gave it a night and today when i went back on i still had 280 ping. So i unisntalled reinstalled league, didnt work. I changed my DNS IP thing (not sure what this does but my friend helped me) still did nothing. I checked my league for the korea server my ping is fine and i also checked valorant (which was also fine) meaning its not the client as i though it was maybe a broken file within the riot file.

I was wondering if anyone else playing from SK has any problem with having high ping on the singapore server? My friend said it might just be Riot servers, meaning there is no fix and I might have to wait it out :// Any help or suggestions would be great x

hey just wondering did you need a vpn to play in sg servers from south korea?

Hi! Just wondering did u do anything that fixed the problem? Or did the ping go down on its own (maybe from a game update or something)?

I’m having a similar issue for a different game but similar circumstances (I’m playing from Singapore to a South Korean server, ping was constant 70ms now it’s suddenly a constant 110ms and will never go down)

hey! no i dont use a vpn. i have a singapore league account so i just loginto the client as normal with my singapore account details :slight_smile: ping has resolved itself and now its about 70-90ms from korea

oh omg thanks for the fast reply!! but for valo? are u able to play from there? sry for the hassle its j that our team is playing a tournament here in sg and two of our teammates happen to be gg for sch exchange at that time :melting_face::melting_face: we dont know if they can play from there in korea :frowning:
