I have been using Proton without any problems all these months, but today, I can’t connect to any server while using Wi-Fi. It works only when I switch to a mobile network.
Can anyone suggest any workarounds?
Also, how’s everyones experience using Proton in Russia?
Roskomnadzor blocks connection directly to Proton servers by IP addresses (as they are known for a long time and never change), so you need to look for working servers or raise your server abroad.
Probably some regions are testing protocol blocking, in this case protocol change will help.
I’ve been experiencing similar problems for a year now, so I’ve stopped and raised my server.

For me brazil Servers are working maybe you try and connect to every Server and you will find a Server working for you (i use stealth protocol) i Hope they fix it soon good luck to everyone!
It’s been working almost flawlessly for the last 2+ years until yesterday. Now I can only connect from home wifi, but not from mobile. BTW, I use the Stealth protocol in settings, it hides the vpn traffic, makes it invisible for RKN. However, something must have gone wrong. Either RKN became better or Proton became weaker.

Both ISP and mobile have failed to connect Proton servers. Found other way round with VPN using bridges.
Which VPN does have Russia locations?
In October 2024, I use the servers in Estonia and Georgia without problems via Stealth protocol. I hope it helps, guys.

I remember last time something like this happened. Everyone recommended using british and us servers, and they worked, but unfortunately, now I can’t connect to Brazil servers.

I have not experienced ip-blockes of protonvpn, only protocol blocks. So, I would recomend to try AWG (instruction in another comment). But if the blocking is really done by IP, than it won’t help.
As for setting your own server I would recommend amnezia.org
It is by far the easiest way and there are good instructions on how to do that. You should select AmneziaWG or Reality protocols. But you would need to buy a server abroad with money.

To be fair, it happened a couple of times. Same symptoms. And yes, it was fixed.
So, hopefully, it can be fixed.
Because I suddenly realised that it is increasingly hard to find info about vpns without the working vpn (because of current legislation), which is a deadly paradox.
