any reccomended VPNs and guides to install them? i tried qbitorrentvpn but i got the stalled/no seeds error and couldnt figure it out. works fine with no vpn

I use PIA. I also use it with that same container from binhex. You just have to ensure that you are selecting a server that utilizes port forwarding.

I use Mullvad. You can make yourself completely anonymous to them, and therefor they can do the same thing toward authorities. In theory.

You don’t get an account, you just get a magic number to remember. They don’t want your e-mail. They don’t want your name. And you can pay (if you want) in bitcoin, or even, and this is the kicker, in cash.

The software is pretty decent too. Split tunneling is a bit janky, bit works for the most part. One important feature for me is that you can set it so that establishing VPN doesn’t kill LAN connections. Also when you download the software, you download the SOFTWARE, not some magical bs program that downloads the software for you.

You can also connect to the service using a generic WireGuard or OpenVPN client. Sorry if I sound like they’re paying me btw. They’re not. I just really like em.

AirVPN is not bad and offers port forwarding which is nice.

I recommend Windscribe! The $2/month plan does everything I’ve ever needed it to. Haven’t had a single issue in the 2-3 years I’ve been using it. Their marketing it also pretty funny, one of the only emails I actually look forward to reading, and they’re only sent out for updates, not weekly or monthly.

Torguard & Hotio’s Qbittirrentvpn container works for me.

I’ve used TorGuard for 4+ years now and it’s great

I use torguard and just use the builtin VPN client on unraid. It will make a network then use whichever docker you want and use the network you created for it. I do this for qbit and sab

Just switched to Surfshark VPN setup on a Gluetun container. Seems to work fine and from what I’ve read it’s one of the cheapest VPN out there.

Ignite vpn is pretty good, fast servers and the free version of the app gives you unlimited vpn time so long as you watch an advert, so that’st is

As soon as the von service gets a supnea from the government the VPN service will hand your logs over. You’re basically paying a service to keep evidence for your crime and nearly package it for LE.

Pia but take a look at usenet really regret being late to the party on it

Using a VPN for torrent is a red herring. Use a private tracker.

I use CyberGhost. Speeds have been impressive on my 1G fiber connection. It hasn’t happened often but I can peg out my connection over their VPN.

I use binhex-delugeVPN with PIA and privoxy with the servarr apps. Wasn’t the easiest to setup but I got it working eventually.

I’ve been using shurfshark for about 2 years now and never had any problems. Used qbittorrent in a docker container with inbult vpn support and a kill switch.

I stopped using VPN and switched to Usenet instead. If you are gonna pay money anyway then you might as well just do Usenet.

I’ve used torguard for close to a decade now.

I’m using ProtonVPN as I’m already a Proton customer. Very happy with it.

As far as the client, I’m using DelugeVPN and it’s been great. I don’t remember if it was ByteMyBits or SpaceInvaderOne that I used for my guide to set it up.

I use proton for this and used spaceinvanders guide
