Recommendations for hardware vpn good for bypassing bypassing ISP firewalls

Hello , most VPN protocols in my country are blocked and im looking to buy a hardware vpn from the US…

The device could be put added as bridge or work independently as a router , the important thing is i need it to support as many protocols as possible since many are blocked …
In addition I need it be able to support ordinary proxy (no encryption )

And lastly , i need it to be on the cheaper side.

No VPN is hardware-vpn. A VPN is a software implementation on a physical server somewhere. I guess what you really mean is you want a physical device to connect your client device to in order to use a VPN instead of downloading a VPN client directly on your device.

What you want is a GL.iNet travel router like the Beryl AX or Slate AX. Then, you can connect to a commercial VPN (ex. NordVPN) if you choose to subscribe to one.

If you want free, you can also use the GL.iNet router to connect to your own VPN server that you setup somewhere (obviously outside of your country).

You want something that supports the Microsoft SSTP Type of VPN. IPVanish supports this. This operates over https port 443. Keep in mind your country is probably also blocking the various vpn providers as well as their protocols… Funnest way around that is deploy your own using RRAS on Windows Server with NAT on something like vpsag.com or within AWS

I swear when I read “hardware-vpn” I just stared at my phone and started to question a lot of things

Is the Mango good enough for me ?
I am inclined towards it because of its price…

It will work. It’s max Wireguard speed is 45 Mbps.

Beryl AX will be a good if u need more speed.

The Mango is very old. I wouldn’t buy it. Mango v2 might be OK for your needs.

That’s acceptable for me, but i was asking about if it supports as much protocols … for example SSTP is one that works for me.

In that case any router which supports OpenWrt firmware will work including GL iNet.

Surprising you are not preferring Wireguard VPN

Wireguard is blocked, i know because i use Windscribe vpn and it doesn’t work… WStunnel works and stealth mode works…
