Over time it adds up. I’m not expecting to pay $0.30 but some VPNs that are over $5-$10 per month seem excessive. Mullvad is interesting but is it really worth it?
Exactly. What would even be considered an “expensive” VPN these days? $8 per month? I haven’t even seen one charge that much ever.
It was my experience 30-40% of the time, which in my opinion is way too often. I shouldn’t have to change the server location as often as I was. Most of the time, I believe a paid VPN should run relatively smoothly/quickly and not be restricted on the majority of sites. Even if it is cheap.
They might be cheap in comparison to other types of software but in my country $5 isn’t that cheap so I’m looking to find something that is high quality and relatively inexpensive (to me).
thanks for the tips. Why PIA? Most of what I’ve read online about that VPN has been fairly positive. I actually am considering signing up to that one. Any reason in particular you say to avoid it other than the streaming problems?
personally I don’t believe that any VPN is really going to go the extra mile to protect your privacy so I’m just looking for the cheapest option. I know people say that Mullvad is safer and they will protect your privacy but really to me it seems like that’s just their reputation and not really reality.
I’m not the op and this is a older post obviously but it seems like almost all of them you have to pay for a whole year up front , are there any good ones that do monthly payments?
I found that their IP’s get blocked on a lot of different sites, not just streaming sites. Even accessing google can be a pain in the ass with PIA. For that reason I suggest looking at better cheap vpns.
