Sites/servers can still detect obfuscated servers?

Every time I use obfuscated servers sites still treat me like a robot/hacker (not the case when I use my raw IP)

Is this a common issue with folks?

I see on Nord’s site that the only way obfuscated servers are detected is through manual checking of the traffic but this is clearly not the case when most sites and servers who don’t like VPNs detect it immediately and every time.

Also I’m using fresh sessions on private mode browsers so I don’t see how it could be some cookie/cache thing.

Obfuscated servers are used for bypassing internet restrictions in countries like China or UAE. To avoid being treated like robot you should switch to another server which is less loaded. Also, I’m not completely sure how it works but captchas pop up more when you are on incognito window, I even get them when I’m not using VPN

Internet is full of different kinds of trackers. They detect that you’re browsing the Internet on different sites. It means you’re less likely a bot. No need to check you.
If you’re in incognito tab - you create a new cookie and look like an unknown user without any history of visiting other sites.

I’m not referring to just captchas, but I suspect it has something to do with the IP prefixes.

I didn’t know obfuscated servers really refers more towards client side not server-side thanks for clarifying.

That makes a lot of sense
