Okay I don’t know if it’s malware or not but why not use something like Mullvad or nord instead ? I haven’t heard of fast vpn before and I have been looking into vpns quite a bit recently.
No, it’s not malware, if you notice only one of those antivirus products flagged as malware, it’s definitely a false positive for that one detection. I use it, and don’t have any problems at all.
My guess is that it’s a false positive - if you downloaded it from their official website.
Namecheap is a pretty known hosting provider. I’m not sure if I would go there for my vpn. I’d rather select a provider that has vpn as it’s core competency.
If you’re just want to watch videos that are not in your country. Just setup a vpn gateway in virtual machine. It doesn’t matter it’s malware or not. Also if you want torrenting just stay away with it. It has a lot vulnerability.
Yeah that’s true it was back in 2019 I believe but they should of let the users know right away. I suggest Mullvad over anything, lots of people have been praising nord recently as well as surfshark but at the end of the day people gotta do the there own research.
Mullvad is 5 bucks a month. You gotta use a trustworthy vpn bro I don’t know if fast is or isn’t but again I’ve never heard of it. It may be cheaper but ask yourself why it’s cheaper and if they could possibly be selling your data.
Who is praising nord? Youtube ads don’t count. When you look into the nordvpn sub reddit you see that they have shady practices and often it doesn’t work properly.
