Torrenting over a VPN vs Tor. What's the difference?

It is better than tor for torrents because it is designed to be. I’ll say this. You won’t be getting pissed off letters from your isp. Now as I’ve said before.

DO NOT TORRENT OVER TOR. IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU ANONYMOUS AND HURTS A NETWORK NOT DESIGNED FOR TORRENTS.

Asking if BitTorrent is safe to use without specifying what you’re trying to do is a stupid question.

No its not. If you are an expert you can do assumptions about real usage and how humans interact with it and how the current internet and policing situation looks.

I haven’t actually looked up if there are any laws about it, but the part with fake downloads, scammy websites etc. I seem to avoid pretty well, so besides the laws I should be good I guess. I can tell you as much as that I’m from one of the countries which are a part of the 14 eyes.

Edit: Thank you for the info anyways. ^^

Ok - so here’s a link to download Ubuntu using BitTorrent. As an expert, explain to me how it’s unsafe to use.

Lol, 14 eyes doesn’t matter for torrenting, nobody really cares. Just use verified torrents on tpb or zooqle and you’re fine about malware.

I just said that I live in a country that’s a part of the 14 eyes, so it could give you a somewhat close idea of which country I come from…
