My annual Turkish Youtube Premium subscription has expired and I am struggling to get it back. I understand that Google has strengthened their methods for detecting this but I have tried every work around I can think of and nothing has been working. Am I SoL?
I initially got the subscription with a VPN. But as of lately that hasn’t been cutting it so in addition to using a VPN I have tried to:
Subscribe on an Android Emulator with the geographical location spoofed to Turkey (Verified in Google Maps)
Pay with a Turkish Debit Card (ininal)
and I’ve even made a brand new account and tried to purchase a family plan from that (the new account was made in the emulator).
Every time I try I get the “We couldn’t verify your location” error.
How I did mine on an iPhone, I created a new Apple account with Turkey as its region. Bought Turkish iTunes card and redeemed it through AppStore. I logged into my main YouTube acct on the app, navigated through setting and paid through YouTube app with my Apple balance. Worked like a charm.
Did you need a Turkish mobile nr for your Apple account? Where did u buy the iTunes card and what amount ? Did you use a VPN before logging in to your YouTube app? Could you subscribe for an entire year?
