Twingate Claim It Has Detected Another VPN

When I tried to log into the platform that I need for work, a message popped up saying: Unable to connect. We have detected that another VPN connection is active. Please close that connection before connecting to Twingate.

I do not have another VPN installed. Twingate is the only VPN that I have. There is an option to connect anyway, but I’m not sure if this will cause issues with the platform that I am working on. How do I fix this?

It’s possible that Twingate is detecting some remnants of other previously installed VPNs that might have been removed since.

Try the “Connect Anyway” button and see if it works. It certainly won’t break anything if it doesn’t.

After I click on connect anyway, I don’t have the option to log into the platform. Then the same unable to connect message pops up.
