I turned it on today to see if the hitreg is better. And it indeed is.
Might be a weird thing, but as long as it works I’m pretty happy.
So if you have a VPN for Netflix or something use it.

I work for Windscribe and have no idea why this helps. Anyone know what the tickrate is? I can only assume that the routing for their game servers isn’t optimised. We have a pretty big physical (biggest out of all the VPNs, baby!) location range which is very efficient so that could be it.
Down for theories so I can pass this along to our own community on our discord as we’ve started to play a bit.
I might have to try it. Hit reg is my MAJOR complaint with this game. I find the game right now damn near unplayable. Hit reg is awful as it stands. So does higher ping somehow make it better or?
What do you put for your location on the VPN?
I think it’s due to routing, I know some providers here have pretty bad peering to other countries but really good peering within the country itself.
My ping only got about 3-4ms higher as I connected to a server in my own country. It’s hovering around 20 to 24 ping depending on the match I’m in.
