Can someone tell me if it’s possible to play outside local network using nord vpn ?
I can’t port forward my wifi so i thought i can use a vpn instead.
I use it with a PIA VPN when playing at work.
I have done on both iOS and windows with no issues, in fact it normally works better for me.
Yes, I’ve used Nord VPN and PSPlay on my cellular provider’s 5G/LTE networks and on WiFi connections (friends, family, hotels, etc.). Works fine, assuming good network speeds.
Just try the automatic remote connection then, no port forwarding needed
switch to chiaki4deck no need for port forwarding for that and its free.
Mind Telling me how do i set it up ? Just bought a Private internet access subscription on my IOS
You can do that with PSPlay as well, just saying
Erm, I’m pretty sure I just downloaded the app, logged in and used the ‘Quick connect’ button.
I did have an issue with it disconnecting then reconnecting on windows but I emailed them and they replied quite quickly.
what play on different wifi to ps5 without doing port forwarding not the last time j looked but if thats the case cool but still having to pay compared to free

do i need to use local connect or remote connect and enter my ps4’s id when using the VPN ?
You are aware that this feature was already present in PSPlay for almost 1.5 years now and it was the only remote play app capable of doing so. Yes PSPlay is not free and you know why this feature is now present in Chiaki4deck? Because I’m in contact with the devs and showed them how to implement that, you can have a look at their contributor list and check for “Florian Grill” 
Chiaki4deck is cool and yes it’s free so absolutely fine if you use that program but there are people working on it in their free time, developing such programs is extremely time and resources intensive and that’s why PSPlay for example isn’t free.
Just turn the VPN on then use the app as normal.
You need to enter the IP of your home router (not your PlayStation) on the PSPlay app if the automatic connection doesn’t work.

damnit. automatic didn’t work so i entered my router’s IP but that didn’t work as well oof.
